Sokowatch, a business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce supply chains for informal retailers, has appointed Ms. Angela Nzioki as chief executive officer to lead Kenya’s operations.

She will also “Lead our team towards growth, expansion and sustainability,” said Galaty Grace, Talent Acquisition Manager, Sokowatch.

She said her appointment was a strategic move towards the company’s leadership growth.

Previously Angela served as the Co-Founder and COO of Pluspeople Kenya Limited where she was responsible for the company’s operations which ranged from growth, fundraising, capacity building, and strategic development.

“We live on a continent where the majority of people live in an informal setting with limited access to goods and services due to poor infrastructure and long supply chains leading to price escalations. It is exciting to me to be able to join an incredible team that delivers these goods and services in the hands of retailers all over East Africa within the same day.

This is the reason I am excited to join Sokowatch and I am looking forward to working with different stakeholders to grow Sokowatch’s footprint in Kenya”, said Ms. Nzioki.

This appointment is one amongst many that Sokowatch will be making across the continent as we continue to transform communities across Africa by revolutionizing access to essential goods and services.

Sokowatch operates in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
