The eighth edition of the Bloggers Association of Kenya Awards (BAKE) saw Kenyan fashion blogger and actress Joy Kendi being crowned as the winner in the Kenyan Blog of the Year category.
Women dominated the awards, winning in 15 out of 23 categories.
The 2019 competition was sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Safaricom, Tuko.co.ke, CDI Gadgets, and Konza City.
The BAKE Awards, since its inception in 2012, has recognized and awarded the best in Kenyan blogging every year. It is organized by the Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE), an organization that promotes online content creation and free expression in Kenya.
