    Safaricom announced the extension of its KSh1 plan across all networks for its subscribers as Kenya celebrated its 55th Independence Day.

    The new tariff plans, offers 18 minutes of talk time to any network in Kenya at KSh18, valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase. To buy the bundle, subscribers will be required to dial *444*18#.

    “Being on Kenya’s strongest network just got THAT much better! Call across all networks for just Kshs1 this #JamhuriDay till the 23rd January 2019! Here’s to hour long convos with bae, friends, and family! #NaweKilaWakati,” announced the telco on its social feed.

    The announcement is an extension of the month-long ‘18For18’ offer that expired on 12th December 2018.
    This tariff pack is direct competition to Airtel Kenya that currently charge a flat call rate of Ksh 2 bob per minute across all networks and Telkom Kenya Ksh1.50 bob per minute to all networks.
