Zara brings new fashion trends to Kenya in global expansion

Kenya is one of the 12 African nations chosen by Spanish retailer Inditex SA (ITX.MC) that its flagship brand Zara will launch a new platform bringing its fashions to customers.

Most of these new markets are in Africa and include Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Madagascar, Zimbabwe and Ghana, among others. The online store is also making its début in numerous parts of the Caribbean and Asia.

Chief Executive Pablo Isla said in a statement that all of Inditex’s brands “will be available online anywhere in the world by 2020.”
