In order to create a more inclusive work environment and promote gender diversity, Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has extended its paid maternity and paternity leaves for its workers. According to TSC chief executive Nancy Macharia, the revised policy benefits to provide adequate support to employees, maternity benefits have been extended to 4 months of paid leave, while paternity leave will be 3 weeks of paid leave. Men are currently given 14 paternity leave days.
