Mastercard has partnered with Kenya’s Billetera to provide millions of residents in the Democratic Republic of Congo access to financial and digital payments services. Kenya Airways (KQ) and Jambojet will resume their domestic flights on Sunday, May 2, 2021, following the lifting of the restriction of movement in and out of Nairobi by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Retailer Carrefour Kenya has replaced ShopRite as the anchor tenant at Garden City. The South African based chain Shoprite ceased operations in Kenya last year. The 3,572 metres squared operating space at Garden City becomes the 13 stores and 11 in Nairobi for the retailer in its expansion strategy. Britam Holdings, a diversified financial services company, on Wednesday, reported a pre tax profit of Ksh 9.7 billion for the year ended 31 December 2020.
