Kenya’s banking system needs to collaborate and work together to minimize the risks of innovation while maximizing the benefits, the central bank says. Kenya’s minimum wage will be 12 percent higher in 2022, President Uhuru Kenyatta said, from the current Ksh 13,500. The Kenyan government says its listing as a signatory to the Declaration for the future of internet is erroneous. Twelve African countries blocked or disrupted internet connection 19 times in 2021, three more countries than in 2020, said a report by digital rights advocacy group Access Now.
