Kenya’s minimum wage will be 12 percent higher in 2022, President Uhuru Kenyatta said, from the current Ksh 13,500. The Kenyan government says its listing as a signatory to the Declaration for the future of internet is erroneous. Twelve African countries blocked or disrupted internet connection 19 times in 2021, three more countries than in 2020, said a report by digital rights advocacy group Access Now.
