The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) Friday said they have apprehended Mike Sonko, Nairobi County Governor on graft allegations.
Sonko was arrested in Voi following orders by Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji early Friday morning.

The Nairobi County Governor and others are expected to appear before the anti-corruption court to face charges over the loss of KSh 357 million.
Other County officials expected in court are the county secretary Peter Mbugua, members of the tender committee Patrick Mwangangi, Samuel Ndung’u, Edwin Kariuki, Lawrence Mwangi, and Preston Miriti, among others.
