Naivas Limited, Kenya’s largest retail chain, has teamed up with Uber Eats to accelerate e‑commerce growth and enhance shopping convenience nationwide.
Announced on November 13, the partnership allows customers to shop Naivas products directly via the Uber Eats app and enjoy fast, reliable home delivery.
Naivas CEO Andreas Von Paleske said the collaboration reflects the retailer’s commitment to meeting customers where they are.
“This partnership with Uber Eats extends our trusted in‑store experience to the digital space, giving shoppers more convenience, choice, speed, and flexibility in how they access everyday essentials,” he noted.
Uber Eats Adds Value Through Technology
Uber Eats Kenya General Manager Wangui Mbugua emphasised that the move aligns with Uber’s mission to simplify everyday life.
“Kenyan consumers are among the most digitally engaged in Africa. Together with Naivas, we’re making it easier for them to get what they need, when they need it. Uber One adds even more value through affordability and loyalty benefits at only Ksh280, customers can sign up for free delivery and rewards every time they shop.”
Rollout Across Nairobi and Beyond
The service will launch in select Naivas branches in Nairobi, with expansion planned for major towns across Kenya.
Shoppers will gain access to thousands of products, from fresh produce and groceries to electronics and household essentials, delivered straight to their doorsteps via Uber Eats.
This partnership combines Naivas’ retail footprint with Uber’s advanced delivery technology, meeting Kenya’s rising demand for speed, flexibility, and digital access.

Kenya’s e‑commerce sector is projected to reach USD 1.35 billion by 2025, growing at an annual rate of 10.7% through 2030.
A 2025 Kepios Digital Report shows that 78% of Kenyan internet users now browse or shop online, driven by smartphone adoption and urban lifestyles.
