Oil marketer OLA Energy Kenya has commissioned a Ksh40 million Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) plant in Nairobi.
The plant will help the company double their capacity and meet the growing domestic demand for cooking gas in the country.
According to the company, the LPG facility can handle up to 650 metric tonnes per month.
“The new LPG plant is fully automated and requires minimal human interaction. It can detect even the smallest of leaks, thus ensuring absolute safety and expanded filling capacity growth of up to 300 per cent,” said OLA Energy Kenya Operations Manager Franklin Nubi.
