UFC will take one step forward to normalcy in Jacksonville, Florida this weekend in front of a full capacity crowd.
The Main Event of the night will feature welterweight title fight between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal.
Masvidal will be hoping to avenge his loss last year to Usman in the now-famous Fight Island over in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The American’s explosive style was stifled by Usman’s wrestling game and the Nigerian earned a unanimous decision victory. However, stepped in for the fight on a six days’ notice, and he believes with a full training camp, he is ready to take the title from Usman.
After beating Gilbert Burns in February, Usman is 18-1 and has the longest active winning streak in the UFC (13).
Zhang Weili (C) vs Rose Namajunas
In addition to the main event, Zhang Weili will return for the first time since her 2020 Fight of the Year candidate against Joanna Jedrzejczyk to defend her strawweight title against former champ Rose Namajunas, who also has a history of delivering on big nights.
Valentino Shevchenko (C) vs Jessica Andrade
Valentina Shevchenko, one of the most dominant women in MMA, will defend her flyweight title against ex-strawweight champ Jessica Andrade.
