Arsenal registered its second group wins beating Dundalk 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.
Mikel Arteta’s side broke down the resilient visitors with two quick goals just before half-time, before a fantastic strike from Nicolas Pepe in the second half wrapped the game.
Eddie Nketiah opened the scoring when Dundalk goalkeeper miscued his punch from a Reiss Nelson’s corner. The young forward pounced on the loose ball to open the scoring.
Two minutes later, Joe Willock made it 2-0, when he got to the ball from Pepe’s, deflected shot and rifled the ball into the roof of the net.
Just 31 seconds into the start of the second half, it was 3-0, with Pepe planting a shot into the top-right corner with his weaker right foot.
The side now turns their attention to Sunday as they visit Old Trafford.
