Tottenham complete the signing of Sergio Reguilon and the return of Gareth Bale.
Tottenham completed the signing of Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.
Sergio, who was previously on loan at Sevilla, joins Spurs for a fee of £30million on a five-year contract.
Jose Mourinho will hope that Reguilon, 23, will give Tottenham greater defensive security at left-back.
A product of Real Madrid’s academy, he made 22 senior appearances for Zinedine Zidane’s side, all of which came in the 2018-19 campaign.
Last season Reguilon was on loan at Sevilla and he produced some excellent performances as he helped his temporary side to win the Europa League.
The North London side also unveiled the returning Gareth Bale to the side.
The Welshman joins his former side on a year-loan having left the side back in 2013 for a then-world record fee.
However, supporters will have to wait until October for his Tottenham debut after his medical uncovered a knee injury.

Tottenham confirmed: ‘Gareth sustained a knee injury whilst playing for Wales on international duty earlier this month and this, together with La Liga’s later start compared to the Premier League, means he has had a limited pre-season.
‘We currently anticipate that he will be match fit after October’s international break.’
Seven years after leaving for a then-world record £86million, the 31-year-old has agreed a deal that fits into Tottenham’s wage structure on around £200,000 a week.
