The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Tobias Alando as the Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2025.
Mr. Alando brings over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, public policy, and stakeholder engagement to this role.
He joined KAM in 2005 and has served in various leadership positions, including Head of Membership and Governance and Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Alando served as Acting Chief Executive Officer, where he successfully expanded KAM’s membership base, enhanced operational efficiency, and fostered a strong company culture.

Mr. Alando holds a Master of Management and Leadership from the Management University of Africa and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in India.
He has also completed professional development programs in private sector development, the green economy, and corporate governance.
