HF Group PLC has appointed Dr Anthony Omerikwa Opare as a non-executive director with effect from 18th January 2022.
Dr Omerikwa is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the National Social Security Fund.
Dr Anthony holds a Doctoral Degree as a Specialist Advance in labour, workforce development and education from the University of Georgia. He also holds a master’s of Science in Human Resource from Pittsburgh State University, a bachelor’s degree in economics from Kenyatta University as well as a diploma in Data processing and management from Strathmore college.
Dr Omerikwa is an associate member of the Institute of Human Resource Management, Institute of Directors and Kenya Institute of Management.
He will join other newly appointed members of the board including Charles Kimani Njuguna the acting managing director at Britam and Prof Olive Mugenda who serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of its Board of Directors.
