Barcelona have unveiled Xavi Hernandez as manager at Nou Camp.
Xavi, who played 799 games and won 25 trophies with the Spanish side, was unveiled in front of elated fans who came to see the club hero.
The former Spanish international left Barcelona for Al Sadd in 2015, first joining the club as a player. He took over as head coach after retiring in 2019 and led them to last season’s league title.
“I will give everything to make it work,” said the 41-year old during the unveiling at the club he enjoyed impressive success.
Barcelona sit ninth in La Liga after blowing a three-goal lead to settle for a 3-3 draw with Celta Vigo on Saturday.
