James Harden scores 36 points as Rockets beat Lakers in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinals

James Harden scores 36 points as Rockets beat Lakers in Game 1.

The Los Angeles Lakers are now 0-for-2 in Game 1’s this postseason. After losing their opener against the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round, they got whacked by the Houston Rockets Friday, 112-97, to fall behind 1-0 in the series.

Lebron James’ Lakers will have to hope that they can right the ship just as they did against Portland, but the Rockets are a far more dangerous opponent.

James Harden had a great night on the court leading the Rockets to a comprehensive win over the Lakers.

Harden was the man of the night, scoring 36 points on 60 percent shooting.

James had 20 points and 7 assists on a terrible night out for the side.

The Lakers were poor on the night and could not take advantage of the size difference between them and the Rockets.

They will have to try and bounce back on Sunday as they previously did against Portland Trail Blazers.
