Equity Bank says it will offer a refund to all its customers on home deliveries if they shop online on the Naivas platform using their visa cards.
“The free delivery shall be in the form of a cash-back send directly to the customer’s Naivas e-wallet within 24 hours of the transaction to be used on the next purchase,” Equity says.
The offer which runs till the 18th of September 2020 will require Equity Visa cardholders to purchase goods worth KShs 1,000 and above using the Visa service from Naivas online to be eligible for the free delivery service.
Get a 10% discount on furniture purchases on Equity cards
On the other hand, Equity has also partnered with retail furniture outlet Dignity Collection that will see shoppers get a 10 percent discount on selected items at the store.
In this case, customers can make purchases via an installment plan, where they make a 40 percent deposit with the balance payable within a 2 month period, at no extra charge on interest.
“The collection or delivery of the goods purchased is after the payment has been completed,” according to the terms and conditions.
Those shopping online will also benefit from the offer by using the Discount Coupon Code: DIGNITY.
Dignity Collection has a showroom and sales office on Langata road, next to Carnivore, Head Office & sales office on Mombasa road, and plan to open a new showroom along Thika road.
The offer is valid until 30 September 2020.
Through the partnership, Equity aims to leverage on its card offering by incentivizing the customers to make contactless payments, during the COVID-19 era, and in support of the government, measures to facilitate cashless transactions.
“Equity’s strategy aims to ensure cash lite transactions are secure and convenient to the customers. During this period where remote transactions are being encouraged, families will still be able to make uninterrupted payments via contactless payment channels,” said Equity in a statement announcing the partnership.
Visa Debit Cards offer customers a fast and secure way of transacting and paying for goods and services.
The bank is also giving its members 25% off on accommodation at the Ibis hotel when they use their cards. In addition to the Ibis Styles partnership, Equity bank has partnered with Swahili Beach Hotel to offer its Premium Debit Card Holders exclusive Offers.
