ESPN added to DSTV Sports Channels

ESPN to be added to DSTV Sports channels.

The American-based sports platform have signed a partnership with MultiChoice Group that will see more channels available for DSTV subscribers.

The deal was announced on Monday and will result in two 24-hour ESPN channels being made available to DSTV customers.

ESPN (originally an initialism for Entertainment and Sports Programming Network) is an American multinational sports channel owned by The Walt Disney Company.

The partnership will see fans and viewers enjoy uninterrupted viewing of major US sport as well as European football.

The channels will feature popular premier American leagues including the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Football League (NFL), and Major League Baseball (MLB), via ESPN & ESPN2.

The partnership will see customers enjoy the restart of the NBA season on July 31.

The opening day will see two live games on the day with LeBron James and the LA Lakers renewing their city rivalry with the LA Clippers on ESPN and later Orlando Magic take on the Brooklyn Nets.

While making last month’s financial results announcements, the management of MCG reiterated their commitment to continue providing the best available content to its customers.

The NBA season is set to resume on July 31 after a four-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic
