FA Cup Semi-finals: United to face Chelsea as City take on Arsenal
- Four top flight sides to battle for a spot in the final
- Chelsea will take on Manchester United as Gunners lay in wait for City
- Mental Health and Psychosocial considerations during the COVID-19 pandemic
The FA Cup semi-final draw sees United drawn against Chelsea as City given Arsenal.
The games will all be held at Wembley stadium over the weekend of July 18-19.
United booked a place in the domestic semi-final with a goal deep into extra time from Harry Maguire who sunk the hearts of Norwich City who had to play for the extra period while down to 10-men.
United looked to have won the match thanks to a goal from on-loan striker Odion Ighalo in the 51st minute.
Norwich would then equalized in the 75th minute through Todd Cantwell who perfectly collected a pass on the edge of United’s penalty area and produced a nice strike into the bottom right corner past Argentine Sergio Romero.
United have been the better side over Chelsea this season when the two sides met.
Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer’s side did the double over Chelsea in the league and Frank Lampard will be looking to seek some redemption and revenge over the Red Devils.
Manchester City vs Arsenal
The two sides faced each other in a Wembley semi-final three years ago, where Arsene Wenger’s side managed to prevail over Pep Guardiola before going on to lift the cup.
But City have been rampant against Arsenal in recent years, and beat Mikel Arteta’s side 3-0 when they faced each other 10 days ago in the first game back from the coronavirus hiatus.
