Jon Jones reveals that he is prepared to walk away from UFC for THREE years

Jon Jones has announced that he is ready to leave the franchise for three years.

Jones has been in a row with UFC Chief Dana White in what the fighter described as a deliberate effort by White to pay them less for fights.

Jones and fellow fighter Jorge Masvidal have now threatened to leave the company over the pay rumbles.

The lightweight heavyweight champion revealed that he has no intention of competing soon until he believes that he is earning a sufficient cut from UFC’s biggest events.

Jones’ feud with White began last month when he called out the UFC chief for being a cheat and refusing to pay him what he rightly deserved.

Jones had been pushing for a fight with UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou. He would then take to twitter to say that White had refused to offer him a ‘deserved payday’.

In his push, the 32-year old emphasized that he is standing up for younger fights who he believes are entitled to better pay than they are currently deserving.

Jorge Masvidal on Thursday informed that he was prepared to walk away from the sport in order to get a fair slice of the pie.

‘It’s about how much I’m going to receive from the pay-per-view,’ Masvidal said on an Instagram Live chat.  ‘How much of a share I want from the pay-per-view. That’s one of the main things that I’m fighting about. I don’t feel that cut is fair and I don’t agree with it.
