The Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) has appointed Diana Muriu as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
“My entry here marks a new chapter for ICIFA, one where we work with our members to uphold to the highest levels of professionalism, discipline, and ethics whether in private or in public practice,”
said Ms Muriuki.
Diana has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry having worked at Actuarial Services E.A. Limited where she recently served as a Senior Manager–Investments.
“The appointment of CEO marks a milestone since inception as an organization by an act of parliament a few years ago. With this appointment, we hope that ICIFA will offer members value for their membership,” said Job Kihumba, chairman of ICIFA.
During her tenure at Actuarial Services E.A. Limited, Diana was instrumental in establishing processes and business relationships that enhanced business development.
Diana is a member of ICIFA and holds a Master of Science in Finance and Bachelors in Economics and Statistics both from the University of Nairobi and a Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Science.
Created by an Act of Parliament in 2015, ICIFA is mandated to register and supervise its members as qualified and licensed to practice as investment and financial analysis and related services including
investment transactions and investment advisory services, verification or certification of investments, services involving investment records and decisions.
