Airtel Kenya Buys Spectrum Worth $40 Million to Boost 4G Network

Airtel Kenya has purchased an additional 60 megahertz (MHz) spectrum in the 2600 MHz band for $40 million from the Communications Authority.

At a cost of $40 million, the newly acquired spectrum licence will be valid for 15 years, effective as of July 2022.
