Ecuador rallied from behind to grab a vital point against the Netherlands at Khalifa International Stadium.

The Dutch began brightly and got ahead in the 6th minute with a superb finish from Cody Gakpo.

Louis Van Gaal’s side enjoyed the better part of the first half, but the South Americans enjoyed and dominated the match after the break.

Enner Valencia got his third tournament goal when he latched onto a rebound when Andries Noppert parried Pervis Estupinan’s shot.

The South Americans kept probing, with the Oranje barely getting into the match.

The result leaves the Netherlands at the top of the table with four points alongside Ecuador, who have to play Senegal, with the result determining who qualifies from the group.
