Japanese automobile maker Nissan Motor Corporation unveiled its compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) Magnite in the Kenyan market.

This was by Crown Motors Group, the official distributor of the Nissan brand in Kenya.

The Nissan Magnite is a sub-compact SUV that the group says will seal Nissan’s commitment to the Kenyan Market in the very competitive segment.

The Magnite is Nissan’s first sub-4 metre SUV a segment that is now gaining ground because of its bold fresh styling, powerful performance and high-tech safety features.

The Magnite is powered by an all-new, 1.0-litre turbocharged engine that features 205 millimetres of ground clearance, Hill Start Assist technology, silver front and rear bumper skid plates, and functional roof rails.

The model also sports 360-degree Around View Monitor technology that enhances safety by helping spot obstacles around the vehicle.

“This is an SUV like no other, from its attractive aesthetics to its powerful functionality and safety features. We are confident that Kenyans will embrace it,” says Maliha Sheikh, National Sales Manager for Crown Motors Group.

The Magnite’s engine is powered by an all-new, 1.0-litre turbocharged engine that is one of the most powerful in the class. Built for urban adventures and great for the Kenyan driver.
