The Dutch side were confirmed as Group C winners with a comfortable win over the tournament’s minnows.
Already knocked out of the tournament, North Macedonia enjoyed some moments in the match but had an early goal by Ivan Trickovski ruled out for offside.
Donyell Malen set up Memphis Depay in the 24th minute to open the scoring for the Dutch side.
Frank de Boer’s side doubled the score in the second half when Depay picked out Wijnaldum in the area and the skipper tapped in.
The new PSG signing got his second of the match and third in the tournament minutes later to seal the win.
Elsewhere in the group, Austria qualified for the knockout stage after beating Ukraine 1-0 thanks to a goal by Christoph Baumgartner.
