The Africa Cup of Nations tournament has been postponed. 

The tournament, to be hosted in Cameroon, has been postponed due to logistical reasons related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement, the Communication Department of CAF noted that at the request of the African Football Confederation, the Local Organizing Committee (COCAN 21), a decision was made to postpone the draw for the final phase of the TotalEnergies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

The continental tournament was scheduled for June 25, 2021 in Cameroon.

The statement further read that the organizing committee remain hopeful of making the event a success once a date was agreed on.
