Manchester City’s Ruben Dias has been named Premier Player of the season.
The Portuguese international was instrumental in the side’s campaign that saw them regain the Premier League title from rivals Liverpool.
Dias beat his City team-mate Kevin De Bruyne and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane to the accolade following a remarkable start to life at the Etihad.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, West Ham’s Tomas Soucek, Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah also made the shortlist.
His manager, Pep Guardiola, sealed the manager award after securing City’s third Premier League title in four seasons as they reclaimed power off Liverpool.
Guardiola’s side stormed to the title, finishing 12 points clear of neighbours Manchester United in the Premier League.
The Spaniard beat Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Brendan Rodgers, David Moyes and Marcelo Bielsa to the award.
