Canelo Alvarez beats Bill Joe Saunders with a TKO win to unify the super middle-weight titles.

Alvarez and Saunders put their super middle-weight world titles on the line in Dallas on Sunday Saturday night.

The two boxers traded punches and blows at the sold-out arena with Alvarez again showing his mettle and reminding the world why he is the current best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport.

Saunders came into the match for just the fourth time at super-middleweight while Alvarez walked into the match for the third time in just five months following wins over Callum Smith and Avni Yildirim.

On the undercard, British boxer Kieron Conway was beaten by Anthony Joshua-managed Souleymane Cissokho.

Conway sprung the match into life in the ninth round when he dropped his unbeaten opponent. Cissokho survived the final bell before being awarded the win on the scorecards.

In the first world title fight of the night, Elwin Soto stopped Kasunari Takayama in the ninth round to retain his flyweight title.
