UFC confirm that the trilogy bout between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor will take place in Las Vegas on July 10.

Conor ‘the Notorious’ McGregor had threatened that his anticipated trilogy bout with Poirier is off but UFC president Dana White has confirmed that it will happen on July 10 in Las Vegas.

The headline fight at UFC 264 will take place at a full-capacity venue – meaning there will be 20,000 supporters with a ticket inside the Sin City location.

A row between the lightweight contenders erupted after Poirier said the half a million that McGregor promised to donate to the American’s charity after the second bout was never paid.

McGregor hit back, arguing that he never sends funds unless there was detailed evidence of where the money would go. And now the ‘Notorious’ has been so incensed that he is refusing to fight Poirier.

White took to Twitter to announce that the two rivals will meet in the octagon for a third time in just under three months at the T-Mobile Arena.
