Joseph Mwenda popularly known as DJ Joe Mfalme will take charge as Disk Jockey at Radio Africa Group following his exit from Capital FM where he played the same role for 12 years.  

In a statement issued Tuesday via his Social media channels, Joe said he will forever be grateful to Capital FM’s management for giving him the opportunity.  

“I would like to thank the Capital FM Kenya family for giving an opportunity to a young man from Meru who had dreams and ambitions of entertaining people through the art of deejaying. I have made some of my best memories working with Capital FM Kenya and I will eternally be grateful to them for the growth and opportunity awarded to me.”  

DJ Joe Mfalme said it was time for him to expand his horizons.  

During his tenure at the station, Mfalme served as a host of the Hits Not Homework show, The Hype, In the mix with Dj Joe Mfalme among others.  

The king of the decks ‘s big break was in 2010 when he won Pilsner Mfalme Hottest Media DJ.  

“He prides himself on his hard work, time management and professionalism,” Capital describes the disc jockey.
