Alexandre Lacazette gave Arsenal their second consecutive win with a sublime strike, 21 seconds after coming on as a substitute.

The Gunners recorded their second win of the week after a comprehensive 3-1 win over Chelsea Sunday.

After a lackluster first-half display by the North London side, Mikel Arteta’s team picked up speed and momentum and threatened Brighton creating chances with ease.

Arteta made one change from the side that beat the Blues over the weekend, bringing in Pierre Emerick Aubameyang in place of Lacazette.

Bukayo Saka continued his impressive display for the Gunners starring alongside Eddie Smith Rowe.

It took 21 seconds for Lacazette to make his mark after climbing off the bench as a second-half substitute, the Frenchman securing Arsenal’s second successive victory with the coolest of finishes.

Elsewhere, Leeds United put West Brom to a football lesson with a five-goal romping.

After Romaine Sawyers’ comical own-goal gave the visitors the lead in the ninth minute, Leeds were 4-0 at half-time thanks to further strikes from Ezgjan Alioski, Jack Harrison, and Rodrigo, with Raphinha adding a fifth in the 72nd minute.

The Baggies host Arsenal on Saturday night.
