• Tottenham qualified for the Europa League knock-out stage after 3-3 draw against Austrian side LASK
  • Gareth Bale, Son Heung-min and Dele Alli were on target for Tottenham as they scored three in Austria
  • But they were denied by a stunning late curling strike by Mamoudou Karamoko as LASK impressed neutrals

Tottenham secured qualification to the Europa League Round of 32 with 3-3 draw with LASK in a thrilling affair in Austria.

Spurs deservedly went behind after Peter Michorl beat ex-England goalkeeper Joe Hart from 25-yards out from goal.

The Austrians moved the ball around at pace and caused Spurs problems in the first half, particularly from their left and into the space behind Matt Doherty.

The Austrians deserved their lead but were unable to protect it.

Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min, deployed up front in the absence of Harry Kane and Carlos Vinicius, combined on the left.

Moura’s low cross found Tanguy Ndombele and his prod towards goal struck Andres Andrade on the arm, raised above his head as he stretched forward to try and make a block.

Gareth Bale stepped up with confidence to level from the spot with the final kick of the first half.

With LASK still pressuring in the second half Son Heung-min’s finish went against run of play as he finished on the counter.

Eggestein levelled with six minutes remaining.

Again, Hart was beaten from long range. He reached it with his forearm but could only deflect it into the net.

Alli seemed to have won the tie when he scored a late penalty, awarded for a nudge on Steven Bergwijn but Mamoudou Karamoko curled in a wonderful and deserved equaliser for LASK.
