• Leicester suffer shocking defeat to Fulham at the King Power Stadium
  • Goals from Ademola Lookman and Ivan Cavaleiro gave Scott Parker’s side a vital away win
  • Harvey Barnes pulled one goal back late in the match for the hosts

Fulham defeated Leicester at the King Power to move out of the relegation zone.

First half strikes from Ademola Lookman and Ivan Cavaleiro gave the visitors three vital points.

Ademola Lookman put the visitors in front after half an hour and paid a warm tribute to former Fulham player Papa Bouba Diop, who passed away on Sunday, as he held up a Senegal shirt carrying the No19 that Diop wore regularly.

Ivan Cavaleiro made it 2-0 eight minutes later from the penalty spot – a rare success from 12 yards for Scott Parker’s side after misses this season from Cavaleiro, Lookman and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Leicester could have joined leaders Tottenham and second-placed Liverpool on 21 points with a win but there is something amiss with Brendan Rodgers’ side when they play at home this term and, despite a late goal from substitute Harvey Barnes, they have now failed to take a single point from matches against West Ham, Aston Villa and Fulham here.

Parker’s men have looked relegation certainties at times this term but after only their second win in 26 away matches in this division, they now have something to build on.
