Manchester City beat Olympiacos 3-0 as Gabriel Jesus marks return from injury with splendid strike.

City maintained their 100 per cent start in Group C with a comprehensive win over Olympiacos.

Pep Guardiola was pleased to see Gabriel Jesus on the scoresheet on his return from a thigh injury as the Brazilian came off the bench and scored with a splendid strike.

City have been operating without a specialist centre forward in recent weeks and the Brazilian’s return gives them greater threat ahead of this weekend’s clash with Premier League champions Liverpool.

Ferran Torres put City ahead in the first half as he continues his impressive form since joining the Premier League side from Spain.

Gabriel Jesus and Joao Cancelo each came off the bench to score and snuff out a lively second-half performance from the Greek champions.

Victory extended City’s unbeaten run in the group stages to 14 games, and they will have the chance to qualify from Group C when they travel for the return game with Olympiakos on Nov. 25.
