Derek Chisora wears ‘WAR paint’ at weigh-in ahead of clash with Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night.

Derek Chisora covered himself in WAR paint and unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade at Oleksandr Usyk as the weigh-in for their heavyweight showdown threatened to boil over on Friday.

The two rivals have shared hugs and compliments during a good-humoured build-up to Saturday’s clash at Wembley Arena.

But the atmosphere turned sour after Chisora unveiled his new look on the scales.

The underdog covered his top half in white body paint and put his own spin on The Joker’s smile – surrounding his mouth and eyes in black.

The two fighters then came face-to-face, with Usyk staring blankly at his opponent as Chisora threw down threats and obscenities.

Security tried in vain to separate them and even had to twist Del Boy’s wrist in a bid to stop the weigh-in descending into violence.

Eventually the fighters came apart but anticipation is building ahead of Saturday’s box-office showdown.

The Ukrainian Olympic champion is the mandatory challenger to Anthony Joshua’s WBO title but he puts his position on the line against Chisora on Saturday night.
