Leeds pushed for an equalizer which came in the 66th minute – Helder Costa found Mateusz Klich inside the box who rolled the ball into the bottom left corner past Alisson. 3-3.
The Reds would have the last laugh deep into dying minutes when summer signing Rodrigo fouled Fabinho in the box. Salah stepped up and sealed his hat-trick which gave Jurgen Klopp’s side a hardly-fought win.
