Arsenal off to flying fashion with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Fulham.

The Gunners began the Premier League campaign with a solid and dominant display in the opening fixture of the new season.

Brazilians Willian and Gabriel Maghalhaes made their debuts and both repaid the manager’s faith with effective displays.

The first goal came in the eighth minute when Lacazette pounced on a loose ball from a Willian deflected shot.

It was a dream start for the Gunners who will be looking to build on the momentum from Wembley’s triumph in the Community Shield last week.

Arsenal began their new season campaign with a solid and comfortable 3-0 win over Fulham

Debutant Maghalhaes started in a back three alongside Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney and had an impressive afternoon in Gunners’ colors – apart from a moment of error in the opening minutes when he allowed Fulham’s Kamara to have a run to goal but Bernd Leno was quick off his line to block his effort.

Fellow debutant Willian had a free-kick effort rattle the frame of goal to be denied a goal in the red colors. He turned provider in the second half with a wonderful corner kick that met Maghalhaes who doubled the score.

Willian then found Aubameyang with a long cross and the Wembley hero did not need a second invitation when given space to cut in from the left, and promptly curled the ball across goal for 3-0.

The Gunners next match will be at the Emirates stadium where they will host West Ham.
