Tyson Fury urges Anthony Joshua to face him in December if trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder fails.

The Gypsy King has asked Joshua to come out and fight him this year in December.

Fury is set to defend his WBC title in a trilogy bout against Deontay Wilder later this year.

The two boxers have been at a ‘war of words’ with Fury lashing out at AJ and urging him to ‘grow a pair’ and step into the ring with him in just four months.

The two fighters have agreed on financial terms on a two-fight deal that will be to see them clash in a ‘Battle of Britain’ in 2021.

Before the blockbuster showdown between the two heavyweights, Joshua is set to take on Kubrat Pulev, while Fury has to complete their trilogy with Deontay Wilder.

Joshua is yet to set a concrete date for that fight after it was pushed back as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

And Fury’s rematch with Wilder also remains uncertain, meanwhile, due to quarantine restrictions around the globe and tight measures on allowing spectators to attend events.

Tyson Fury explosively called out Anthony Joshua and urged his rival to fight him in December

The impasse may allow Fury and Joshua to clash instead with both fighters based in the UK, and the Gypsy King appears just as keen as ever to make their ‘Battle of Britain’ scrap a reality.

Speaking to BTSport Boxing, Fury said:

‘If Wilder doesn’t happen, let’s do Joshua in December. Let’s get it on. I’m ready to go now, I’d have fought him in that ring tonight.

‘I’d still kick his a***, any time of the day. Hopefully, they grow a pair and want to fight the Gypsy King.’
