Arsenal are said to be keen to sign the Brazilian defender as a free agent as they look to bolster the side’s defence which has been plagued with injuries, howlers and inconsistency.
According to Le10 Sport, Mikel Arteta is said to have already reached out to the player and discussed a potential move to the North London side.
