Tennis: Andy Murray makes winning return in first match since November

Andy Murray made a sensational return to action after seven months.
Murray has been out of action since November last year.
In a ‘Battle of the Brits’, Murray took on Stockport’s Liam Broady in the former’s first competitive action since the Davis Cup finals in November.
Murray has been out of action with a pelvic injury sustained during the finals.
In an empty Roehampton’s National Tennis Centre, the 33-year old Murray took on Broady in a bragging rights match.
The former world number one began the match and gradually asserted control and dominance throughout the match.
Murray’s all-important movement looked a little rusty but his trademark defence was solid enough in seeing off any challenge in his first round robin encounter.
He defeated world No 211 Broady 6-2 in the first set and win the second set 6-2 as well.
He is set to face a stiffer test when he takes on the power of higher-ranked Kyle Edmund on Wednesday.
