Kenyan Bourse Tuesday Turnover Improves by 96pct to Ksh 0.40Bn 

Foreign investors were bearish on Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) offloading their stakes on Safaricom and Equity Group, according to Genghis Capital.

Kenyan Bourse Tuesday Turnover Improves by 96pct to Ksh 0.40Bn Trading on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday recorded 96 percent improvement as the volume of shares traded, turnover and key indices surged.

Equity turnover rose 96.1  percent to Ksh. 0.40 billion with 29.9 shares being traded in 1,018 deals, corresponding to a market value of Ksh 397,242,632.00, were traded.

The NSE 20 Share Index declined by  7.72 points to close at 1949.82 same to the All Share Index (NASI) dropped by 7.72 points to close at 1949.82.

The NSE 25 Share index declined by 28.83 points to close at 3269.51
