Conor McGregor has been offered a title shot against UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman.
Through a tweet, Kamaru Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz offered the former champion a chance to take the belt from the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’.
McGregor ‘The Notorious’ competed in the weight category earlier this year at UFC 246 when he blitzed Donald Cerrone in mere 40 seconds earning him a technical knockout that got fans around the world talking in awe.
His stellar performance at the event got the interest of Usman’s manager, Ali, who took to twitter to lay the challenge for the Irish fighter.
Ali tweeted: It looks like #1 contender wants to fight Nate Diaz now. Good for him. Conor McGregor hey you want a title shot? Come to daddy, Usman will give you one and he promise first two rounds without takedowns only slaps.’

‘The Notorious’ was the first man in UFC history to hold two belts at different weight divisions – Featherweight and Lightweight championships.
McGregor had outlined on Twitter of how he considered himself as behind only Anderson Silva in the list of all-time greats, but insisted he could secure the top spot by the time he retired.
The array of finishes, across 2 divisions, with champion status in 1, Anderson Silva is No.1 MMA GOAT.
My array of finishes, across 3 divisions, with champion status in 2, I’m No.2. If not tied 1.
However still active, No.1 is fully secured by career end. And easily.

Longtime rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, who beat the Irishman by submission in October 2018, quickly took a swipe at him with a tweet outlining McGregor’s losses.
you tapped out in featherweight , you tapped out in lightweight and you tapped in welterweight , you never defended title in the UFC or Cage Warriors , you gave up more than GSP , Spider and Bones all together.
you greatest @ufc fighter in twitter history.
