UEFA is open to offering an extension to leagues across Europe to unveil plans for football resumption.

The European football’s governing body had set a May 25 deadline for leagues across Europe to unveil their plans of football resumption.

Among the requirements were a date of resumption, plans of how the remaining games will be played out and a date for completion.

Premier League’s Project Restart appears no closer while concerns continue to run in Spain’s LaLiga after two Real Betis Players tested positive of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, German’s Bundesliga is set for resumption this weekend with a mouth-watering clash between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke FC.

English clubs were set for resumption with various teams welcoming players back to training. However, the date to resume appears unkown after Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s decision to allow Premier League clubs to begin hosting games behind closed doors from June 1.
