One World: Together At Home, an eight hour took place over the weekend – an eight-hour, global broadcast special, raised $128 million ( KSh13.6 billion) in support of the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The broadcast which featured Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o, Nigerian musician, Damini Ogulu, (Burna Boy) on Saturday 18th, organized by Global Citizen together with Lady Gaga, was viewed by over 270 million people across the world.
All associated proceeds from artists, record labels and streaming services will be donated to Global Citizen in support of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

The broadcast was hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert, alongside friends from Sesame Street to help unify and inspire people around the world.
