The Kenyan Ministry of Health Friday reported 12 people had tested positive of coronavirus bringing the total to 122.

CAS Health Dr. Mercy Mwangangi also reported one more death, bringing the total to 4.

“A six-year-old child has died of COVID- 19 complications today (Friday) at the Kenyatta National Hospital. The child who died had a pre-existing condition,” she announced.

From those who had tested positive, eight are males and four females aged between 28 to 68. The 12 were reported in Kiambu (one), Laikipia (one), Mombasa (two), Nairobi (seven) and Nyeri (one).

Across the country, the ministry has tested 1, 433 persons in quarantine, with 617 left to go.
