Sportswear powerhouse Nike has launched new Kenyan kits for team Kenya ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Announcing the new-look kits, Nike posted the announcement unveiling the kits for different countries.
Kenyans were not happy.
Disappointed Kenyans took to Twitter and bashed Nike for the kits which they said lacked creativity, are dull, ugly and are uninspiring.

Nike is enjoying Kenyans with our Olympic Team uniform …. See the Kenyan model & uniform & the ones of US, Nigeria & Brazil …. Our “honey-comb” uniform must get an Olympic Prize for ugliness … NOC-K under President Paul Tergat must reject it. pic.twitter.com/39x3vWTqiz

Most fans felt the old kits are more beautiful, appealing and embody the feeling and pride of the nation, unlike the new ones.

Issa miss. Looks kinda busy and doesn't let the "Kenya" be easily identified. @nike could definitely have done better, just hope that those in charge locally engaged young, creative decision makers.
