China’s smartphone maker Xiaomi has opened its third store in Kenya at Nairobi’s Sarit Center expanding its presence in Africa.

Kevin Zheng, manager for the Africa region, says the Mi Home shop will meet local consumers’ demand for smartphones and smart digital products from the Xiaomi brand.

“In the future, we plan to open more retail outlets both in Kenya and the rest of Africa in order to meet the growing demand for quality electronic products,” Zheng said.

It opened its first store in Nairobi’s Hub Mall. Another store is along Moi Avenue Street.
