Blankets & Wines enthusiasts, do not know whether it lived up to its hype ‘A Kenyan Summer to remember…’.
“We’re pleased to announce the start of our 11th year of wonderful experiences at Blankets and Wine with a two-part Kenyan Summer Edition at the Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi: December 22nd, 2019: A celebration and a toast to the year that has been.” announced the event organizers.
On the D-day, Jamaica’s sensation Koffee (Mikayla Simpson) lived up to who he is alongside other Kenyan artistes like Fena Gitu and Sol Generation among others.

However, there are those who enjoyed everything and those who failed to. The reason for the mixed feelings was the weather. The Kenya Meteorological Department on 18 Dec. had indicated the day would witness showers.

Muthoni The Drummer Queen, founder, and CEO of Blankets & Wine, had the perfect response that, “You must be new to us Blankets &Wine happens under God’s beautiful sky. Occasionally he flutter showers. When they happens, we dance under the rain & give thanks for everything we have received. The rain today was literally a shower & it passed.”
